This customer requested 3 photo albums with a violin theme.  Her son was enjoying the amazing experience of not only taking violin lessons, but learning how to make his own violin.  She wanted to document the violin-making process with an album for her son as well as one for the master violin and viol maker who was teaching him.  This customer wanted to come up with a design that conveyed the idea that violins are created from wood/trees.  We settled on a design that used the raised violin shape as a "landscape" with two trees in pewter and silver foil where the tuning pegs would go. 

All three albums had 35 pages. The two larger albums had a page size of 10" square while the smaller album had a page size of 8" square.  The cover is burgundy pigskin leather accented with silver and pewter stamping foils.  Beautiful Spanish marbled endpapers were used with a scrolling desing reminiscent of the scroll at the top of the violin.

A book like this would cost around $195 for the 8" page size and $235 for the 10" page size.
