Small  Travel  Journal  for  Trip  to  Iran

This little travel journal is constructed like a scrapbook so that my customer could attach cards, labels, and other mementos from his trip to Iran to the pages.  In order to make it easy to carry, this book has 30 pages that are 6" square.  The cover is a blue linen book cloth with silver lettering and a design with a slightly middle eastern feel that I created by combining several generic decorations that I already had.  The endpapers are a blue-on-blue marble and there is a plastic CD pocket mounted inside the back cover.  A CD with photos or music collected on the trip was to be stored in the pocket upon return.  (You can barely see the clear CD pocket in the photo on the lower right.)  Even though it is a straighforward cover, I thought this book was a good and manageable size & shape to take on a long journey.  Small details like the marbled endpapers and natural deckled edge on the outside edge of every page still give it a unique look.

A book like this would cost around $140.
