Set  of  Three  Xena-Themed  Photo  Albums

These photos albums were made for a collector of costumes and props used on the Xena television show.  Each albums is meant to hold photos relating to different parts of her collection.  Each album has 50 acid-free black pages that are 10" square with room to mount photos on the front and back of every page (resulting in albums that are each approximately 2" thick).  The covers are mainly black pigskin leather with various designs. The designs are (from left to right):
1. A raised and recessed yin-yang style chakram accented with silver, gold, and copper foil leaf.
2. A raised design of Xena's sword accented with silver, gold, and copper foil leaf.  There are also tiny circular paua shell inlays in the sword hilt.  Xena's dark brown sword scabbard also appears on cover and is made up of dark brown goatskin leather, braided leather strips, brass discs, tan leather cord, brass rivets, and more paua shell inlays.  The "fringe" is loose and hangs freely on the cover.
3. A raised and recessed classic chakram design accented with silver and gold foil leaf as well as inlaid paua shell discs.
These covers (especially the sword and scabbard where the scabbard was assemble on its own and set into a recess in the cover; rather like assembling a puzzle) were time-intensive, but I was happy with the results, getting them to look as much like the prop weapons as possible.

Though the cost of each book in this set would vary (with the sword & scabbard being the most expensive), the entire set would cost approximately $950.
