Small  Edition  of  Santa  Claus  Books

This customer plays Santa Claus at the holidays and he had an idea for a blank book.  He wanted a blank book to use in conjuction with a "magic" ring when telling stories to his grandchildren.  His grandchildren were slightly confused as to how there could be multiple Santas so my customer told them that there is a North Pole training program where "Santa assistants" go to learn what they need to know to play Santa at Christmas.  Though the books I made for him are blank, he planned to tell his grandchildren that only people who have completed the training and put on the magic ring (a class-ring-style custom ring he had ordered) can read the invisible ink on the pages.  He came up with a little "kit" of sorts including a certificate, a ring, and a blank book (among other things) that he offered to sell to other holiday Santas at various conventions.  The books themselves here are very straightforward.  They are each about 1/2" thick with blank pages sewn together on an oversewing machine (to help save cost over hand sewing).  The pages are 6" wide by 9" tall.  The cover is an imitation leather book cloth over binder's board; however, this cloth color has since been discontinued by the supplier, unfortuately, and is not available for future orders.

When ordered in a quantity of 20 or more, small books like this can cost as low as $35 per book.
