Rust Linen Guest Album with Sepia Cover Photo
This guest book was created for a couple who wanted to add photos to the book that their guests wrote in. Therefore, this book was constructed like a scrapbook/album. The digital photo file e-mailed to me by the customer was in full color. The hat on the groom-to-be was pink in the original photo. Pink really would not have gone well with the rust linen cover they wanted. So I turned the photograph into a sepia tone photo which really worked well with the color of the cover cloth. The pages were a cream color, giving the whole album a very natural feel. This was further enhanced by the two-tone cover stamping; the words were stamped in burgundy pigment and the decorations were stamped in copper foil. The couple chose a favorite quote for the back cover. I really liked the way the more candid photo worked on the cover of this book.
A book like this with the longer quote on the back would cost around $225.
