Rowan Album
This baby album was done in robin's egg blue linen bookcloth. The wonderful black and white photo on the front of the father holding his child was provided (and taken) by the customer and permanently mounted, recessed, in an opening on the cover. The photo was covered with a protective piece of Plexiglas. The baby's birth date was stamped on the front in silver and the baby's birth weight was stamped in silver on the back. This book had heavy, archival, scrapbook-style pages in off-white and soft silver-colored endpapers. Overall, it has a very light look to it.
An album like this costs approximately $350.
When the album was full of photographs, I went on to make a tiered clamshell box that would hold this album along with other items from Rowan's first year (including baby & mom's hospital bracelets on the lowest level of the box, calendars from the pregnancy, her pregnancy journal, etc.). A box like this could cost $390 or more.
