This book was created as a gift for an aspiring writer.  My customer hoped he would being writing his novel out by hand in this blank book.  My customer wanted a very traditional look for this book.  It has 150 pages of unlined paper.  The pages size is 6" wide by 9" tall.  This book has a printed title page and the cover is red pigskin leather on the spine with red vellum book cloth on the front and back.  This very traditional 1/4 binding also has raised cords on the spine along with some decoration and gold lettering.  My customer liked the "Book of Bright Ideas" she saw on the gallery page of my website, but it was decided that this book should be a 1/4 binding instead of a 3/4 binding (meaning this one would not have leather corners) with a bit less decoration than the "Book of Bright Ideas" in order to help keep the cost down.  It still has a very traditional look without the leather corners.

A book like this would cost around $240.
