This small guest book was made for friends of a long-time customer of mine.  She wanted a small guest book to give them as a wedding gift.  The bride liked pink and liked flowers.  My customer wanted to know if a stamped decoration could overlap onto the cover photo.  Since the cover photos are slightly recessed and I cannot stamp a decoration on an uneven surface (the surface must be perfectly flat), I instead cut away some of the photograph and let the cover cloth and the pink flower design extend into part of the photo.  This little book has 40 pages that are 7" square.  The cover is eggshell linen book cloth and the flower design is actually a corner decoration stamped to look more like an arch.  This book also has pink marbled endpapers made by me using the Japanese Suminagashi marbling technique.  The spine of the book has lettering in pewter stamping foil along with another small pink floral accent.

A book like this would cost around $125.
