Oversized Monogram Journal
This large journal measures 16" tall by 12" wide (see photo below of me holding the book to get a sense of the scale). It was created as a gift for a daughter's 23rd birthday. This book had about 150 unlined pages. The cover has the daughter's intitals intertwined monogram-style and raised on the surface of the cover. The cover is burgundy pigskin leather and the front and back have raised panels to give the cover a "framed" look. The corners, lettering on the spine, and cross on the back cover were all stamped in antique gold foil. The intitals themselves were gold-leafed and sealed with gold leaf sealer. This is definitely the largest journal I've ever done!
