Muscial Duo Guest Book with Guitar Motif
This guest book was created for a musical duo in Germany who wanted a book to take to their gigs so guests could leave comments for them. They wanted something that featured a favorite instrument, so they sent me photos of their guitar. I did a raised & recessed simplified image of the guitar on the front and a more detailed back cover decoration with a raised & recessed image of the decoration on the guitar. The lettering was kept simple and added using silver foil in a serif font. This little book has 200 unlined pages that are 9" tall by 6.5" wide. The cover is dark blue pigskin leather. The endpapers are a blue-on-blue marble that adds a bit more interest to the inside of the book. I really liked this little book. My customer wanted to keep it simple and not too crowded and I think it accomplished that while still including some interesting details.
A book like this would cost around $210.
