Misadventures of a Rockstar
This blank book was created as a memoir book and has one of my favorite titles. This book is 8.5" wide by 11" tall with 200 lined pages. The cover is black vellum bookcloth. Though I usually cannot do raised or recessed designs with cloth, sometimes it is possible to do a very simple design this way. The lightening bolt on the front of this book is a recessed design in the cloth cover which saved my customer the cost of having a metal die made to stamp the lightening bolt in silver. This basic book has silver-and-gold-on -black marbled endpapers to add a little visual interest to the inside.
A book like this would cost around $150; part of this cost includes the two lines of horizontal lettering on the spine which is a more challenging layout to stamp with the machinery I use.
