This journal was created for a soldier who wanted his unit's insignia on the front.  This book has 200 pages of lined 8.5"x11" paper.  The cover is very dark green pigskin leather with a raised skull and skeleton seahorse design along with some gold lettering in an Olde English font.  The cover decoration was taken from the design of a sew-on patch that this soldier had.  There is a black ribbon page marker as well as a 2-buckle closure.

A book like this would cost around $250.
