This customer contacted me requesting a journal that would be easier for a left-handed person to use.  What is usually the back cover of a book is the front cover on this book.  This book has 365 lined pages (one for each day of the year) that are 7"x8.5".  The cover is a beautiful British Tan Sokoto goatskin leather.  There are raised bands on the spine along with a blind stamped reference to a Bible verse.  The cover features several African spiritual symbols (in a layout designed by my customer) stamped in dark green pigment along with the Bible verse reference repeated in blind stamped lettering.  A custom metal die was necessary to stamp the artwork on the cover.  I am always happy when I can create the exact book that my customer is looking for.

A book like this would cost around $310 which includes $70 for the cost of the rather large metal die used to add the symbol design on the cover.
