Page size: 7" x 8.25"
86 lined pages of acid-free, archival paper in off white with light brown lines.
Pages are handsewn in signatures with cotton thread (by sewing the book this way, it will lay open completely flat).
Endpapers are brown, red, and gold marble (see photo above).
Cover is red pigskin leather. A real "skeletonized" cream colored leaf is permanently mounted under the Plexiglas window on the cover.
There is a single gold leaf stamped at the base of the spine in gold foil.
Made with all archival adhesives.
This book was entirely handmade from start to finish.
Please note that while Plexiglas will not shatter, it CAN get scratches on it and those scratches cannot be removed. This may not be the blank book to throw in your backpack and take on a trip. Please be careful not to scratch the Plexiglas on this one.
This book would make a great journal or guest book. I have even sold this particular design as a wedding guest book.
