This guest book was created for a home in Mexico. My customer chose the dark brown and red color scheme and wanted to incorporate the design of a "Mexican colonial pineapple". This pineapple design was created as a freestanding raised red goatskin piece which was then inlaid into a recess in the dark brown goatskin cover. The recess was shaped to fit the pineapple exactly. The book was accented with a red ribbon page marker and red endpapers. The back cover was stamped with the location of the home in gold. This was one of my favorite guest book projects.
A book like this would cost around $280.
