Antique Blue Cowhide Wedding Guest Album with Hebrew Lettering
This wedding album was created for an orthodox Jewish couple. The front cover is decorated with the same design that appeared printed on the couple's wedding chuppah. Two custom dies were made for stamping the cover; one for the center medallion, and one for the floral corner decorations. This album is 10" square and 50 pages long. There is room for photos to be mounted on both sides of every page. The cover is dark blue antique-finish cowhide leather. The cover is hot-foil stamped using the custom dies and silver and light blue stamping foil. The spine is stamped with the couple's names and wedding date using silver and light blue stamping foils and moveable metal type. The front and back cover also feature a raised panel so that the edge of the cover has a "matted" look. I really liked the color combination on this album.
An album like this would cost around $235 PLUS the cost of the custom dies. In this case, the roughly 4" square die used for the medallion cost around $90. The corner decorations are available for use on future projects.
