Black Leather Recipe Book with Hot Falling Pie Slices I made this book for a family friend when she graduated from culinary school. I wanted her to have a book where she could record her favorite recipes. She was working at the time as a pastry chef so I wanted a playful design that had something to do with pastries. I settled on a design of raised hot pie slices (with steam rising from them) falling down the front cover. Her favorite color is black, so the cover is black pigskin leather with silver foil stamping. The title on the front has a very small fork stamped in silver below it. On the back cover, there is a recessed large fork with her name stamped below it. This book has 180 pages of lined paper that is 11" tall by 8.5" wide. A book like this would cost around $230. |
