This journal features a raised and recessed dogwood blossom design.  The petals are recesed into the cover with raised centers, a carved vine, and raised leaves.  This book has 184 lined 8.5"x11" pages.  The cover is navy blue pigskin leather accented with silver foil lettering and a scrolling line design in pewter foil.  This book also has a lovely blue British marbled paper endpaper.  My customer requested a "medium-sized dogwood blossom design that went up the front edge of the cover".  Flowers can be a bit of a challenge to re-create as raised or recessed designs, but I was happy with these largely due to the success I had in creating the raised and bumpy centers that are instantly recognizable as dogwood blossoms.

A book like this would cost around $210.
