Custom Xena Journal
I was contacted by a Xena fan who wanted a one-of-a-kind journal for herself with a Xena theme. This cover, done in burgundy pigskin with no foil or stamping at all, had only raised designs under the leather. The orignal-style chakram design (detailed on the back) wraps around to the front where it intersects with a raised Xena sword with the newer-style chakram hanging on it. The customer wanted the sword as well as both chakram designs and "Xena" in lettering similar to the logo. There was a lot of detail involved in cutting out and carving these designs in the cover board.
A book like this would cost around $250.
