Contrasting  Wedding  Guest  Albums  for  Wedding with  Two  Ceremonies  at  Different  Locations

These matching but contrasting albums were created for a couple who planned on having two wedding ceremonies.  The first ceremony consisted of a small gathering in Trinidad.  The second was a larger church wedding in their native England several months later.  They wanted the books to go together, but not match exactly since each ceremony would have a very different feel.  These were created as guest book photo albums where the guests would write on each page and photos from the reception would be mounted on the pages with clear, archival self-stick photo corners.  The book on the upper right is for the Trinidad wedding and features a cocoa pod design (the theme for the tropical ceremony) stamped in antique gold on a dark brown linen book cloth cover.  The spine and most of the back cover are eggshell linen with the wedding location stamped on the dark brown strip on the outer edge of back cover.  This assymmetrical color scheme was reversed for the book meant to be used at the church wedding in England.  The front of this book depicts a sketch of the church in dark brown pigment surrounded by an antique gold frame.  The location of this ceremony is stamped on the back cover.  The spines of each book have the couple's names and the date of each ceremony.  The cover designs were created using custom metal dies which added to the cost of the project but made these book truly unique to the couple.  Each book is 10.5" tall by 9" wide with 40 off-white page in each.

A set like this would cost around $480 not including the cost of the metal dies used for the cover designs.
