2-Tone  Cloth  Dragonfly  Travel  Journal

This travel journal has 125 pages which are 11" wide by 8" tall.  The cover is made up of two types of buckram book cloth; applied so that the BACK side of the cloth is facing out.  I wouldn't usually recommend this, the front side of the cloth is very tough and is resistant to marks and dirt whereas the back of the cloth is not, but in this case, the back side of the cloth had the softer and more "cloth-y" look I wanted.  This book is bound in "Southwest" colors of rust rust brown and turquoise.  On the front, there's a dragonfly stamped in turquoise foil on the rust brown cover cloth and a quote by
Mark Twain:
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness."
The back cover features a dragonfly stamped in copper foil on the turquoise cloth and a quote by
 Susan Heller:
"When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all your money.  Then take half the clothes and twice the money."
I made this journal to use on a trip to the Southwest.  Yup; I made it for myself!

A book like this would cost around $195.
