Landscape  Format  Leather  Restaurant  Guest  Book  with  Raised  Lettering

This book was created for the owner of a Washington D.C. restaurant as a gift from a friend.  While I am often asked about doing raised lettering on covers (as opposed to foil-stamped lettering), it is usually not possible because most lettering is too intricate.  However, in this case, the restaurant logo lettering was basic enough (and large enough on the book cover) that it was possible.  This book has 180 pages of unlined white paper (the book is roughly 3/4" thick).  The pages are a long landscape format of 8.5" tall by 12.5" wide to compliment the layout of the cover lettering.  This book is understated but effective and I really liked the end result.

A book like this would cost around $210.
