Chocolate Leather Guest Book
This couple's wedding colors were dark brown and red; a color combination I really love. They also wanted a square book which I always like. So there were a lot of things about this book that I enjoyed! The cover is dark brown calfskin leather with a recessed square in the center. There is an inset sepia-toned photo of the couple's engagement picture. Small decorations were added to the cover with dark red stamping pigment. The type on the cover was done in silver foil. This book also had printed pages (copyright issues prohibit me from posting photos of the pages) which is not something I typically do. It took a great deal of collaboration between the woman who designed the page layout, myself, and the local printer who printed the pages from digital files. If you are ever thinking about having words or graphics on your pages, please talk to me first. There are lots of computer compatibility issues as well as limits on how large the book can be. Getting the pages printed with full-color graphics was expensive too. The printing was almost as much as the binding cost. But the results were great. I really liked this guest book.
A book like this (including, in this case, 40 pages of double-sided full-color printing) would cost around $300.
