This baby journal, album, and clamshell box set was created for the third child of one of my long-time customers (the Running Horse and Butterfly baby journal, album, and box sets that appear on my gallery page were made for the couple's other children).  This customer wanted a distinctly different look to each child's baby book set.  This baby was born on St. Patrick's Day, so we decided to go for a Celtic theme.   

The baby journal and album are both made with rust linen book cloth and a strip of burgundy vellum book cloth at the front edge.  They are both decorated with burgundy stamping pigment and copper stamping foil using lettering and several Celtic decorations.  The baby's name and birth information also appear on the books.  The box is the reverse of the books...mostly burgundy vellum book cloth with rust linen bookcloth covering the box edges.

Both books have 8" square pages.  The journal has 200 unlined pages while the album has 50 pages with room to mount photos on both sides of every page.
