This journal is a small anniversary journal where the couple writes on several pages each year on their anniversary.  This customer wanted a raised Celtic cross on a dark brown leather cover with a very natural feel.  The cross was carved in a rounded relief before being covered with a dark brown goatskin leather.  This personal-sized book has a page size of 8.5" tall by 6.5" wide.  The book has 100 pages.  The front cover also features the couple's names blind stamped in serif lettering.  There are two raised cords at the top and bottom of the spine with more blind stamped lettering.  In contrast to the muted cover, I wanted to use a marbled endpaper that matched in tone but had more of a surprising pattern.  I really love this little book and think the rounded relief of the cross gives it a "carved from stone" look.

A book like this would cost around $210.
