This book was commissioned by a customer who wanted to give a friend a book that would help inspire her writing.  This book has 200 pages of lined paper that are 11" tall by 8.5" wide.  The cover is navy blue pigskin leather with a very intricate carved Celtic knot design.  I suggested that perhaps we should have dies made so that the knot design could be stamped on the cover in silver, but this customer wanted it to be carved.  The knots had to be this larger size in order to get this amount of detail. This customer requested lettering in Olde English type.  It fits with the Celtic knots, but I only have access to two smaller sizes of Olde English.  I could not make the lettering any larger than it appears here.  The spine also has lettering and some generic decoration in silver.

A book like this would cost around $295.
