Oversized  Album  with  Raised  Canoe

This scrapbook was created for a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary.  My customer wanted a printed title page and did the layout himself (then sent it to me via high-resolution electronic file for printing) with some lovely typesetting and a photograph from their wedding day.  This became the first page of the book behind a semi-sheer page of cotton vellum.
This scrapbook has 50 pages that are 10" wide by 15" tall.  It's a large book; close to the maximum size I can make.  The cover consists of dark blue antique cowhide with some water ripples scattered randomly as well as a canoe "wake".  The raised canoe is covered in a reddish-brown pigskin leather.  Silver lettering was added to the spine using moveable metal type and silver hot stamping foil.  A pewter leaf is stamped between the names and the date.
This book has mottled blue and brown Nepalese endpapers that really compliment the colors of the cover.

A book like this would cost around $530.
