Brown Linen Wedding Guest Book with Arts & Crafts Monogram This guest book was made for a couple whose wedding was to take place at a very interesting historic building in Virginia. They had an arts & crafts era style to their wedding invitations and they wanted the monogram from their invitations on the guest book. I thought the monogram was great! They sent me a high-resolution image of the monogram and I had it made into a metal die for stamping on the cover. This is an example of a pretty straighforward cloth-covered book that still looks different and specific to the couple. The book has raised panels on the front and back cover to give the edge of the book a bit of a "framed" effect. The monogram in gold is the main feature. The front cover has the couple's names and the wedding date and the back cover has the wedding location. I liked the monogram so much that I wanted to use it twice and I liked the slightly "mirror image" effect of putting it on the front and the back covers. The lettering on the cover is san serif to keep in line with the clean arts & crafts look. A book like this would cost around $123 PLUS the cost of the die. |
