Black Leather Wedding Guest Album with Black & White Cover Photo This couple really liked the Black Leather Wedding Guest Album with Cover Art that I made and wanted a very similar album for themselves. They too wanted to have a book in a scrapbook/album construction where guests could write on the black pages with silver markers and add Polaroid photos taken at the reception as they were signing. This book was greatly enhanced by the great engagement photo taken by this couple's wedding photographer. The photograph was originally in color, but it was decided that black and white would be less distracting. So I took the color out of the photograph in Photoshop and printed it out on water and fade-resistant Epson Professional photo paper. The photo was then permanently mounted in a slight recess on the front cover of the book. This couple also wanted silver stamping foil used for the type and pewter foil for the decorations to fit with the black and white feel of the book. They gave me a quote to stamp in silver on the back cover. I like to add something to the back cover if possible just to surprise anyone who takes the time to look there! Usually, I include clear, archival, self-stick photo corners with an album order. However when photos are going to be added to the pages at the reception (especially if there is going to be alcohol involved!), the photo corners can be a bit tricky to work with. So I included archival double-sided sticky squares with this order. The photos will be permanently mounted to the page, but the squares are much easier for guests to work with than the photo corners. A guest album like this one would cost around $290. |
