This request came from a customer who planned to ask his girlfriend to marry him.  He liked the idea of the Anniversary Journal (where you write in it every year on your anniversary), however, he thought they should do a lot more writing in this book....one page per week for 60 years.  So this turned into a multi-volume set with a total of 1,500 pages!  Each book has 261 pages of lined paper that is 8.5" tall by 7" wide.  The covers are black goatskin leather with silver and pewter stamping foil.  Here is the trick; when the books are lined up on the shelf, the couple's names read correctly across the spine (Carlee and Austin); this only works if both names happen to have the same number of letters in them.  These books have raised cords on the spine with blind stamped lines on each side of every cord.  There are letters from one name at the top, another at the bottom in silver foil, and in the center there is a row of numbers stamped in pewter foil so you can keep track of which volume you're on.  The front and back covers of each book have blind stamped corner decorations and the couple's names in silver on the front with a blind stamped flourish underneath.  The amount of stamping on these covers is where most of the time goes when making a set like this.  Oh; she said "yes".

A set like this would cost around $1,140; or $190 per book.
