Bat  Mitzvah  Scrapbook  with  Raised  Monogram  and  3-Buckle  Closure

This guest scrapbook was made for a young woman whose Bat Mitzvah was going to have a "Wicked" theme since she was a fan of the Broadway musical.  She wanted a guest book that would have the look and feel of a witch's Grimoire (a manual for spell-casting).  She wanted guests at her party to be able to write in the book and then add photos and cards to the pages later like a scrapbook.

This scrapbook has 50 pages that are 10" square.  There is room to mount photos & cards on both sides of every page (so the book will not look "overstuffed" when full).  The cover is dark green leather with a raised, silver-leafed monogram.  The cover is also accented with corner decorations stamped in pewter foil.  The spine has raised bands along with more decoration in pewter foil and some silver lettering.  The front edge of the book has three buckle closures made from dark green goatskin leather and riveted through the cover with pewter rivets.  Each buckle is decorated with a pewter Star of David because, hey, it's a Bat Mitzvah!

A book like this would cost around $295.
