Asymetrical Gray & Eggshell Linen Wedding Guest Book
This couple was getting married at a historic mansion in California. They wanted a flower motif that looked like a flower carved from stone...the type of ornament you might see on a historic building. A custom die of this design was created and was used on the front and back cover. This book is 7" wide by 8.5" tall with off-white lined pages. The cover is eggshell linen and gray linen. Lettering on the eggshell linen is stamped using moveable metal type, hot foil stamping, and pewter stamping foil. The image of the stone flower ornament is stamped in pewter foil. The lettering on the spine (on the gray linen) is stamped in silver foil with the scroll decoration in pewter. This book also has a gray satin ribbon page marker. I thought the color combination on this guest book was very effective in giving it a light yet still architectural feel. This stone flower image is available for future orders.
A book like this would cost around $180.
