Arts & Crafts Style Wedding Photo Album with Raised Poppy Motif
This album was commissioned by a mother who wanted a special place to store photos from her daughter's recent wedding. The wedding invitation had an arts & crafts motif using a poppy design similar to this one. I continued that feeling with the simple, san-serif font and satin copper cover type and a repeating 3-square design in dark red. The reddish-brown color of the pigskin leather cover also followed the arts & crafts theme. The raised and recessed poppy design was subtley highlighted with a rubbed copper pigment. I was very happy with the results on this one.
